Eamon O’Leary’s has established a way to merge the traditional with the modern, keeping folk music fresh. Houses and Lands opens with a simple admonition, “Harden your heart/ Spit on your hands/ Put all things in order/ Your houses and lands”, yet goes on to remind that there is much that we need to make sure we don’t forget, people, places, music. It’s just one of several haunting moments on the new record " The Silver Sun".

New Yorker Eamon O’Leary is widely regarded as one of the finest underground songwriters on the Lower East Side folk music scene, O'Leary is originally from Dublin, Ireland.
He has been living and playing live around the USA and Europe for over a decade. A genuine, poetic folk singer, songwriter-guitarist, Eamon released his acclaimed second album "All Souls" in 2018 and supported the release touring with Sam Amidon (Nonesuch Records) and Glen Hansard (star of the films Once and The Swell Season and frontman in Irish band The Frames).
Eamon has appeared and collaborated with esteemed artists such as Bonnie Prince Billy, Anais Mitchell, Martin Hayes (The Gloaming) Jefferson Hamer, Bridget Kearney (Lake Street Dive) and his multi- instrumentalist-label mate, Benjamin Lazar Davis (Okkervil River / Cuddle Magic / Joan As Police Woman).
